Rumors have been floating around that an Anonymous group of hackers got into the PSN in protest of the Geohot situation and demand that jailbreaking of the PS3 be allowed. In any case, Sony has decided to completely remake it's Network. I'll probably have beaten Mortal Kombat 20 times before that happens. Their is also a scare that credit card info may have leaked. In funner news, the new map pack, as seen here in an older blogpost, is on it's way out. I love zombie flicks, but never been a fan of Cal Of Duty Zombie game modes until the above trailer came out. I'm looking forward to being Machete fighting side by side with Buffy finishing off the half dead.

It's Top Gun's 25th Year Anniversary and AMC will be showing the movie in all its greatness on the silver screen. I'm a huge fan, and have never seen the movie in the theatre, so i'm gassed. I watched it about 500 times on VHS before I had to return it to my cousin. I used to fast forward through that PG sex scene so I wouldn't get busted buy my boy Jay always wanted to watch that part. All young guys doing music think they are all talented. The ego is enlarged for no reason. Shout to Eric B, a teacher at Harbor City's Narbonne High School. A couple years ago he asked me DJ their end of the school year Summer Jam.

The jerk scene is heavy at this school, harboring three strong groups that rap and dance. They catch much love from their fans/classmates. One kid stuck out though, moer on that lyrical tip, very respectful to me, and had that hunger.

As far as what kind of music I listen to, or what I look for or how I search, I've always kept the rules simple: get what you think you should get. I was spinning somewhere and a friend of mine asked "Do you have that Eva Simmons and Afrojack joint?"

I controlled F in Serato, and sure enough, I had it. He and his group went crazy when I played it. I don't know what made me download so much Afrojack, in fact, I didn't even know the name until it was requested.

Sometimes you have to listen to the music a few times before you actually like it, so I decided to smash my whole Afrojack collection into this Mini Mix. Have a great time.

Late 2008, D. King asked to do a mixtape with him. It was the end of year crunch and I was headed to the Philippines so I told him to call me February 14th, the day I get back. I land in LA, February 14th, and I get a call from D. King. That's when I decided I had to do the mix, dude is hungry and on point.

I linked him up with Seattle native GMK at a meeting at the Downtown Los Angeles Standard. They both agreed to the project. GMK's brilliant steelo set the tone of the mixtape.

The last three albums to get into my rotation are Drake "Thank Me Later," Eminem "Recovery," and Major Lazer x La Roux "Lazer Proof."

They each have their charms. Drake created a well rounded album, it's sound is exactly what I'm looking for these days. Clean beats, breakdowns, clever raps and harmonious umm.. harmonies. Em's album is an introspective joint; got me understanding and questioning things about myself that I never have. The Major Lazer joint is just candy for the ears, mostly from the vocals of La Roux.

I've given Drake's album the most rotation of the three, it's just talking my language. Listen to these mixes then decide which album you'd really want to buy.

This last weekend I had the best birthday celebration I've had as far as I can remember. I've never dubbed a birthday celebration as "the best ever," ever. Since I'm not into clubbing, I planned to spend the evening at home, doing nothing.

DJ Jay-P convinced me to celebrate with him at his event Sucker free. So many of my friends came out and showed love, and the ladies were loving my set. I didn't keep the floor packed, but I kept those looking for an alternative to the alternative happy.
